Dear Customer,

We would like to inform you about an upcoming change regarding the request process for qualified and advanced signing certificates.

Within the service provider’s systems, the deadline for submitting new certificate requests related to RSA 2048 key-based signing certificates (including personal, business, and seal certificates), as well as renewal requests for currently valid RSA 2048 certificates, is April 28, 2026, 23:59 (CET) for both qualified and advanced certificates.

Please note that due to a technological transition by the Trust Service Provider, any RSA 2048-based signing certificate requests submitted after April 29, 2026, 00:00 (CET) will no longer be processed or issued. Such requests will need to be resubmitted through the new client portals, where certificates will be issued using one of the most modern technologies, the ECC algorithm. The new advanced and qualified client portals are available on the service provider’s website via the login interface.

To avoid any disruption, we kindly ask you to submit your requests before the above deadline. Please note that this change does not affect the request process for encryption and authentication certificates; these certificate types will continue to be available through the existing application interfaces after April 28, 2026.
