The NetLock Ltd. does not meet the so-called private keys of the clients, necessary for creating electronic signatures, during the general issuing procedure as the certificates are created by means of the pairs of the private keys, the public keys of the users. The general time stamping service is based on the “finger print” of the document to be sealed, from which the original document cannot be restored either partly or totally.
NETLOCK has a liability insurance in accordance with the decree 24/2016. (VI. 30.) of the Ministry of Interior on detailed requirements for trust services and their providers.
Insurance of NETLOCK with Generali Insurance Ltd. covers its legal obligation to pay compensation related to certificate issuance (including certificates for Public Administration), placing signature creation data on signature creation device, time stamping services, PKI activities (including planning, consulting, PKI integration), archiving services, developing non-technical software, and hardware services.
Economic engagement
In the course of its activity – co-operating with the National Media and Infocommunications Authority and other organs of public administration –, NETLOCK has taken efforts from the very beginning to create a suitable regulation environment for the use of electronic signature, to promote the spread of the electronic signature at a social level by factual measures, and to speed up the public proceedings, where possible.
